Carlos Fong

Founder & President

Carlos Fong is a first-generation Chicano Mexican American, raised by immigrant parents who came to the United States in pursuit of a better future for their son. At just 18 years old, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Carlos served four years on active duty and an additional two years in the National Guard. During his service, he deployed to Bahrain in the Middle East and worked with Patriot missile systems. He later served as a Military Police Investigator in the Army National Guard, continuing his commitment to protecting and supporting others. Following his military career, Carlos transitioned into professional mixed martial arts, earning one world title and 17 gold medals—demonstrating the same discipline, resilience, and drive that defined his military service. Today, Carlos is a disabled veteran, entrepreneur, and nationwide cannabis advocate.

As the Founder and President of the Valor Bridge Foundation, his mission is deeply personal. During his own transition from military to civilian life, he experienced firsthand the lack of support many veterans face. That experience became the foundation for his purpose. Carlos is dedicated to ensuring that no veteran feels alone in their transition. Through Valor Bridge Foundation, he provides guidance, resources, and hands-on support—whether it’s a simple conversation, connecting veterans to critical services, or personally escorting them through VA processes to ensure they receive the care they deserve.

His mission is clear: to serve those who served us, and to stand beside every veteran—especially those fighting battles beyond the battlefield.
